Default USB3 dock + TPFanControl/CPU-Z = choppy

Hello,

I'm experiencing a couple issues using the Lenovo Helix (Win8 x64) with their USB3 Dock.

Running all the latest updates/bios for the Helix and the 7.2 M1 DL drivers.

1. Every once in a while the mouse freezes for a second or two on the external monitor, but it's still moving on the laptop screen.

2. When using TPFanControl the mouse movement becomes very choppy. The moment I close TPFanControl the mouse goes back to normal.

I've tried running with the power plan set to Performance, but it doesn't help.

Any ideas? Thanks!

Default

So installing 7.3M1 seems to have fixed the random mouse freeze.

However, there's still some sort of compatibility issue with the USB 3.0 dock and any software that accesses fan/cpu speeds or temperatures. (TPFanControl, CPU-Z, etc)

Can anyone else confirm this? When I have any of those programs open the mouse instantly chugs, like I'm on a VNC connection over dial-up.
