Default Intel 6th Generation (HD 520, HD 530)

Displaylink version 7.9 is not compatible with newer graphic cards. Getting "The installed version of Displaylink USB Graphics software does not support this graphics cards, which uses a newer version of the Windows Display Driver Model". Any solution?

Thanks

Hello,
Would you please attach the zip of your logs so we can look into it?
Here is how to generate it: How can I report Windows issues to DisplayLink?
Cheers,
Alban

got my display to work thanks to Tech support (Juan Guerrero)

- Disconnect the monitor from your computer
- Uninstall the software driver from your computer
- Run the DL Install cleaner: http://www.displaylink.com/downloads/sla.php?fileid=121
- Go to www.displaylink.com
- Select Download driver from the upper right hand corner
- Scroll down and download the 7.9 M4 Software
- Once installed restart your computer
- Once you are completely logged in connect the monitor to your computer once again.

Hi Marc,

Thank you for the logs.

You have a hardware fault. Too many errors on the USB and Windows gives up.

I would advise trying in another USB port with another cable to rule out a port issue or a mechanical problem.

If that doesn't work, please contact the manufacturer, Dell, and mention you have a hardware problem, most likely in the dock internal USB3 hub as our chip cannot talk with your computer properly.
DisplayLink doesn't design or manufacture these and your drivers seem properly installed.

Kind regards,
Alban

Default Intel HD Graphics 520 not compatible with DisplayLink 7.9

Was there any resolve to this issue? I'm having the same problem with a new hp Elite 840 G3 and my 2 Asus USB Monitors. They will not work and I have installed/uninstalled DisplayLink several times. I keep receiving an error message that the graphics adapter is not compatible with DisplayLink.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Hello,
@dberanek would you please be able to start a new thread describing what your symptoms are and what you've tried. The full text of the error message, if there is any, would be helpful.
Also, may you include logs? My forum signature includes how to generate the log files. This will tell me the different version numbers.
Kind regards,
Alban
