Default [Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS] DLM Not allowing me to set 1080p resolution

My secondary monitor's native resolution is 1080p, but the DLM monitor that's recognized will not let me set a 1080p resolution. This only occurs after switching from my NVidia Driver (with the display directly connected to my laptop) back to the Intel driver, logging out and back in to let the Intel driver take over, then moving the display from my laptop back to the dock. Last time this happened, I eventually got the dock to recognize my monitor with the proper monitor profile (and thus let me set it to 1080p), but I forget what I did to resolve that.

Update: This set of steps is the workaround to resolve this issue.
  1. Plug display into laptop
  2. Unplug dock from USB
  3. `sudo systemctl restart dlm`
  4. Unplug Monitor from laptop
  5. Plug dock back into USB
  6. Plug Monitor back into dock

Obviously, this is far from ideal.
