Default D6000 Monitor not detected (secure boot is off)

Hi there,
I have Thinkpad P52s laptop and Dell D6000 dock station, and I can't make it to detect a monitor connected by HDMI. I turned off the secure boot in UEFI and made sure that I don't have nvidia drivers.

lsusb shows the displaylink device, but Settings/Displays doesn't list the external monitor.

Attached is the dump from the reporting tool.

Help?

Default

i found somewhere in the website such a workaround:

# echo evdi >> /etc/modules
# echo "options evdi initial_device_count=2" > /etc/modprobe.d/evdi.conf

and surprisingly it worked!
