Unhappy Clamshell mode no longer working - Sequoia15.2

I usually use my MacBook Air 13" in clamshell mode connected to 2 external monitors using a Plugable Display Docking Station with DisplayPort. I had no problem using it with DisplayLink for 2+ years. I also updated my MacBook with every update that came along.

No problems until the Sequoia15.2 update recently. Now I cant use clamshell mode and need to have my MacBook open in order to use the external monitors. If i close the laptop, the screens go black.
I've used the End-User Cleaner and uninstalled display link and re-installed it using the newest version 1.11.0.... but still no dice. Works only when the laptop is opened.

Hello,

Can you please share more details I will need logfiles to check the feedback from the driver. For instructions on how to gather the logfiles please navigate to the following article How to report macOS issues to DisplayLink

And aslo for speedy support please send an email with the logfiles and detailed problem description to: technical-enquiries@synaptics.com

Hello all,

To make things clear, DisplayLink Manager does not require having access to accessibility. Clamshell mode works also on macOS 15 and on the latest versions. For its proper work power supply and external screen are required.

Please make sure that the "Power save all displays and sleep in clamshell" is unticked.

Boot your MacBook into Safe Mode to see if third-party software or extensions are causing conflicts. If clamshell mode works in Safe Mode, the issue might be related to a third-party app or driver.

Hello lamena21,

Please ensure that you have the latest version of our driver installed.
You can download it here.
