Hi there,
I am glad that clamshell mode has been implemented, but sadly I encountered mayor issues with it on my 2019 15' MacBook with Monterey: - For some reason I can't start any apps anymore when in Clamshell mode. - When I remove my MacBook from the Display Link my screen stays black and I need to restart my MacBook. I hope these issues can be resolved as I would like to use my MacBook in clamshell mode. Kind regards, Coen van der Gracht |

I'm running into the same issue.
- MacBook 16" 2019 - MacOS Monterey 12.0.1 - Dell D6000 dock - DisplayLink Manager 1.5.0 (Build 58.125) The issue occurs with an external display, while the running in discrete mode with the Radeon GPU. The system remains stuck in discrete mode, not switching back to integrated graphics, and the integrated laptop display doesn't turn on when it is opened, or when the external display is disconnected. Only fix so far is restarting the device. |
