Will the DisplayLink OSX driver work for this device? http://www.iogear.com/product/GUWAVKIT4/

You will need the wireless USB driver for Mac from IOGear for this.

If you have a driver for the Wireless USB link, then our software should work as it will just look like another device on the USB bus to our driver on the Mac.

I looked into the dongle and it is an Alereon based device. Would there be any sort of generic driver, or drivers from another product that would work?

Alereon don't seem to have a generic driver on their website. I think you need to contact IOGear about this. If there isn't one today, there won't be one in the future without customer feedback.
