Issue rotating external monitor
Hello!
I'm not sure the exact information you might be looking for, so please let me know and I can fill in any missing details. I am new the mac OS game, just recently started a new job and am running on a macbook pro 2019. I have two external displays I have used for windows and linux perfectly fine using a startech.com displaylink adapter that connects two displayports to a single usb. Since the macbookpro only has usb-c, I had to go out and get a usb to usb-c adapter to connect everything together. Unfortunately, the macbook pro did not recognize the monitors as existing, but after installing the displaylink manager, the displays were recognized. Unfortunately, I use one of my external monitors in portrait mode, and rotating the display doesn't seem to be supported Displaylink Manager. Is this something that will be supported in the future, or am I doing something incorrectly (and it should be working already)? Thanks! |

Hello atrus619,
Thank you for contacting us! Yes, you have it right, rotation is not yet supported on the BETA app version but we are aiming on having this feature in the future. Right now you may use rotation but you would need to uninstall your BETA app driver and download the classic KEXT version driver from here. If you would change the driver, these two articles may come in handy: 1. How to configure DisplayLink displays. 2. Screen rotation option on MacOS X If you would need any further assistance, feel free to contact us again. Best regards, Jakub
