Hello,
Thank you for contacting our support. Could you please tell me what model of a docking station are you using? Also, are you using only 1 external monitor? Thank you for providing your present configuration and an exact description of your issue. In the log files I may see that you are using a BETA driver app. Please firstly upgrade it to the newest possible version as you are running an older one right now. Here is the newest: https://www.displaylink.com/downloads/file?id=1552 Do you see the application "DisplayLink Manager" running in the right upper corner? If not, please launch it. Thank you for checking that and letting me know. Best regards, Jakub

Hi Jakub,
I'm only using one external monitor and i'm using the sabrent 3.0 USB docking station. I've tried to download the version, but its saying i've got a newer version. The issue i'm having is that whenever i plug the docking station into my mac, all i get is blank screen on both the mac and external monitor, the mac book doesnt even get to the start up screen. Thanks San21a |

Hello San21a,
Thank you for your fast reply. Could you please uninstall your present driver by moving the DisplayLink Manager application icon to the trash bin? Afterwards, please install the driver that I have provided you in my previous message. Also, please make sure that you have the application running in the right upper corner of your screen. Lastly, could you please tell me if the docking station is connected to the Macbook directly by USB-A? Best regards, Jakub

My Macbook Air isn't working either
Hi there. My MacBook Air stopped synching as well on Friday the 15th of May after the update. I have two Dell P2419 H External monitors and I use the Dell D6000 universal dock. I am running Catalina v 10.15.4. I have tried both of your drivers for Catalina (Beta and the one from November) and neither one works. I get flickering screen issues or only one monitor comes up.

Hello San21a,
Could you please clarify one thing for me? You wrote that both screens are getting black when the dock is plugged in. Does it mean that if you are using only Macbook screen and attach the dock with an external screen the Macbook display stays also black? If so, what will happen if you restart the Macbook with a docking station + external screen plugged in? Did you checked the source on the monitor? Is it correctly set to the correct cable type? Thank you for your feedback. Best regards, Jakub
