Default DisplayLink Issues On Linux Mint

I have been having intermittent issues with the DynaDock's DisplayLink drivers, and the dynadock itself. Originally, under Windows 10, the dock will randomly disconnect itself when transferring files or at other random moments. I made the decision to switch to Linux (Ubuntu-Mint), which, while not 100% supported, has support by way of drivers directly from your site. The random disconnects stopped, and I got my 3rd monitor working under Linux (via DVI)...until one day the third monitor's signal scrambled, froze, then turned white. I tried switching to an HDMI cable/signal, and it just says "No Signal". Since this has been working up to that point, I'm pretty confident that I can resume using the third monitor if this can be fixed (or replaced).

Sadly, I don't even see USB enumeration of the device in the logs you provided.
You should start troubleshooting from the device side - is it a power adapter? a broken USB cable? a dock itself?

Thanks
Michal

Michal,

Oddly enough, the docking station (DynaDock) also has my USB keyboard and mouse plugged in, and these continue to work.

Default An Update...

I went ahead and obtained a Diamond USB Display Adaptor Pro (USB 2.0 to VGA/DVI/HDMI) adapter. It arrived just a little bit ago, I hooked it to my DVI cable and I'm pleased to say that, for now, the third monitor is back in action.
