Default 8.2 PowerPoint Issue

Hi, Alban,

The new BETA driver is definitely better than the previous release.

So far we've found that PowerPoint 2013 is lags while typing on a slide. It's more noticeable if there is a lot of text on the slide being edited. This problem was also noticeable on the previous 8.1 driver, but we thought it was related to the screen lag already reported.

The good news is that WUDFHost.exe doesn't go much past 11% CPU while PowerPoint is lagging. The Lag does not occur on the Surface Pro 4's display.

We're testing on Surface Pro 4 for Targus ACP7701AUZ.

Thanks,

Matt

Hello PCEng,

Thank you, we will have a look at PowerPoint.
We've seen that the Photo applications keeps sending full screen updates even when showing a static photo... So we have to find a way round that.

Kind regards,
Alban
