Default Premiere Pro CC latency on external screen

Has anyone experience latency when they have Adobe Premier Pro CC latest version running and they try to do Anything at all on the secondary monitor?

I've tried uninstalling, restarting and reinstalling. I've tried checking for updates. The issue only seems to happen on the external monitor and it only seems to happen when Premier Pro is open -- even if premier is on the main monitor which is built into the computer.

My hardware resource consumption is fine.

Hoping that someone else has either experienced this, heard of this or knows what can be done to fix this?

After doing some thinking on this, I Think I might have something. I remembered having the same issue in Firefox. More or less it was caused by hardware acceleration setting being enabled. I found this, https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/using/effects.html

It requires me restarting my computer so we'll see what this does.

Nope issue persists. If Anyone has suggestions I'd love to hear them.

Here's something to note, the issue only happens when I'm working in a premier project file. If the program is open but not a project file, then the issue doesn't happen.

I tried this https://www.displaylink.org/forum/sh...ad.php?t=67281

but didn't change anything.

If anyone has suggestions I'd love to hear them. I have posted a comment on the Adobe forums as well.

I'm having this issue too. Has anyone been able to work around it?

I was able to get it work. What I ended up needing to do was purchase a higher model. I'm using one with the chipset of the 6000 series. The latency issue doesn't happen At All now. Doesn't matter if I'm using DVI, VGA, HDMI or display port.

What chipset is your model using?
