Default Mac M1 - Hide menubar icon.

Hello my menu bar real estate is a scare resource.

the display link icon is pointless but I like to start at logon incase I dock my laptop.

why cant I hide the menu icon??

You can hold down cmd, click and drag it to the left. That way when your text menus overlap menu bar icons, it's the ones you don't care about to the far left.
