Default Windows 7 - display not working

I'm using this software with a Dell D3100 and a Latitude 3550 laptop. I have installed the latest display driver and driver for the docking station. I'm unable to get the image to output through either the display port or hdmi port (using a hdmi to dvi adapter). Usb and Lan are working fine, it's just the image that doesn't want to output to the monitor. I even set the laptop to duplicate image as a test, but no luck.

Hi,

Can you try these steps?

1. Disconnect your dock
2. Uninstall DisplayLink software
3. Run the cleaner tool from here http://www.displaylink.com/downloads/sla.php?fileid=121
4. Install DisplayLink software
5. Reconnect your dock

Thanks,
James

Default Can't uninstall

I upgraded to Win 10, but didn't see an advantage, so I reverted to Win 7. My Targus USB 3.0 Superspeed Dual Video Docking Station with Power (ACP71USZ) on a Dell Inspiron 14z worked fine. When Win 7 restored, the docking station did not appear and my external monitor was unavailable. I tried the above procedure, but when I try to uninstall I get "The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable". When I try to download the Display Link Cleaner Tool I get "This webpage is not available".

This is my first post and I need help.

Thanks,

JT

Hello JT, please start your own thread as adding to something unrelated is confusing to other members and makes it difficult to follow.
