Question Asus eee 901 & Lilliput TS Driver Woes

I'm running an Asus Eee 901 Laptop with an nLited Xp Pro SP2, and I've recently recieved a Lilliput 7" Touch Screen Monitor...

With it comes DisplayLink drivers. However the drivers that did come with it were bad for my setup, they resulted in a continuous reboot loop that could only be stopped by uninstalling the drivers.

I tried again with driver version "5.3.24566" and this fixed the reboot loop from hell, but pops up an incompatibility dialog box...

It suggests getting the latest graphics drivers (I'm downloading them now), but tells me nothing more.

I'll write back with results after I get my eee's new graphics drivers, but something tells me this is not the issue.

Please help, cheers

Okay so the new asus drivers have failed.

Also tried the new Beta DisplayLink driver to no avail...

Getting desperate,...

What makes you think the liliput is a DisplayLink capable device?
Which model did you buy? from what store?

I bought the Lilliput on Ebay from China.
The Version is "UM-70".
It came with a driver CD with two folders, one for touch drivers, the other contained old DisplayLink Drivers. (setup-UM-5.2.21675.exe)

The other folder has touchkit drivers that work fine. I have tried installing these both before and after the DisplayLink one without change.

Also, I strangely seem to have up to 11 'Unknown Devices' under Display Adapters in my Device Manager. I also get one 'LILLIPUT USB Monitor' under USB Controllers.

Issue Resolved!
In the end I didn't end up reformatting and mucking around with nlite!
It seemed that SP3 (as recommended by johnhc, thanks man!) fixed up the DisplayLink drivers.

By the way,... having an extra touch screen is AWESOME!
