Default Proper steps for W10 TP upgrade?

Hi,

In which order should I go about the drivers, etc., when upgrading to W10; upgrade drivers within 8.1 or in 10?

Also, anyone had success with MS Surface Pro 1?

I tried yesterday directly upgrade my Surface with old drivers and I eventually had to downgrade to get my screen working. Run into the nags about unsupported display drivers, etc, when trying to install the beta drivers . After reverting back to 8.1 I had to use the cleanup-tool to install the stable driver.

My dock is Toshiba Dynadock U3.

Thanks.

Hi MWill,

I suggest uninstalling DisplayLink software before upgrading to Windows 10. The latest Windows 10 DisplayLink software should then be downloaded via Windows Update. I'm not aware of any issues with using a Surface Pro 1.

Thanks,
Paul

Did the steps, but now I only get the main monitor HP Z24 via DVI to flicker for 0,5 seconds, when it tries over and over again to connect.

Edit: removed diagnostic package, which includes too much for public view.
