No output from usb-hdmi converter.

I'm using a Atlona usb to hdmi converter and am not getting any display on my second screen. I've tried updating the Displaylink and my graphics drivers, adjusting the resolution, etc and still nothing. The second display (LED TV) recognizes that the converter is attached and the converters status light comes on when connected to the usb.

Is there another HDMI port on the TV you can try?

I've tried all the hdmi ports on the tv, different cables as well as switching usb ports on the computer and still get nothing. The tv is at least recognizing that there is a device attached as it switches from "check cable" when disconnected to "no signal" which is where I'm stuck.
