Default HP Envy with HP USB Dock Regular BSOD Windows 7 X64

Get Blue Screens regardless of which version of the displaylink drivers I use

Had hoped that the beta ones would solve the problem.

I have exactly the same problem (with the newest driver).
Is this something 5.4 might be able to fix?

Hi

We're trying to fix this, but need a memory dump with Driver Verifier enabled. To do this, please enable driver verifier with the command below:

verifier /flags 0xffb /driver displaylinkusbport.sys dlcdbus.sys

and reboot the system (so the change takes effect).

If you then get teh full memory dump, please PM me and I'll give you a location to upload it to.

Thanks

Wim

Default HP Envy Problem with BSOD

Hi,
I have the same problem. I have activated the verifier and had a bluescreen. Memory dump is about 600 MB. Where can I upload it?

Thanks
Pirmin

Default BSOD when starting VMWare

Hi Wim
After activating the Verifier, I wasn't able to start a VMWare Session anymore. I got a BSOD with "The driver is corrupting the locked pages tracking structures" . After exectung verifier on the command line and removing the driver settings for display link, it worked ok again. Just for your info.

Important: the original problem with the external display is still not solved.

Thanks
Pirmin

Hi Wim

Thanks

I'm having the same issue with an HP Envy. I was on older drivers (5.3.24) so I downloaded the current drivers (using now) as well as the beta drivers (to try if I get another bluescreeen.

I've just PMed you with details of where you can upload the BSOD. Please let me know when it is there. I'll also need to know the software version.

Thanks
