Hello,
This isn't a Vendor ID belonging to DisplayLink, it belongs to Bizlink. It's normal you cannot assign a driver which has nothing to do with the device to it. Only DisplayLink devices can communicate with DisplayLink driver so hacking the driver won't solve the fact you need the dock to work properly in the first place. Did you try to flash the dock with a Dell utility? IMPORTANT: I'm not asking you to do that, I am asking if you have done it. The last link in my forum signature shows how to collect logs to understand what state the computer is in. Kind regards, Alban

I don't know why you are blaming the driver at this stage.
Logs also list devices.

Hello Kyle,
What I found is that the dock has a problem. It's missing devices on the bus. Before Windows selects a driver, it has to be told there's a device to find a driver for... The chip you're referencing is one of the other chips in the dock. It's the overall controller of the dock. Has this product ever worked? Kind regards, Alban
