DL cannot work with Speed mode for SONY VAIO Z1
PLEASE HELP! URGENTLY!
Dear all, The DisplayLink cannot work in SPEED mode of SONY VAIO Z1, but can work in STAMINA mode for an USB Projector in Windows 8. Details: My SONY VAIO Z1 notebook computer just upgrade to Windows 8. Before that the VAIO worked fine with DisplayLink to drive an USB projector in both SPEED and STAMINA mode of the VAIO. The SPEED means using NVIDIA display card, and the STAMINA means using integrated display card. The STAMINA mode works fine with latest version of DL 7.x M2. But the DL cannot work in SPEED mode, the main screen just shows but cannot click, the USB projector just show blank. Need help ! |

I'm not sure what version of NVIDIA drivers you have installed, but they have released a driver update that is incompatible with DisplayLink.
We're working on a fix for this, but the workaround could be to downgrade your NVIDIA driver version. Wim |
