Monitors not recognised - MacBook Pro 2020
Hi everyone,
I'm having issues with a MacBook Pro 2020 13". I'm using a Dell D6000 dock station with two Samsung screens using HDMI. The system don´t recognise the screens and also is not being charged through the dock station. Displaylink Driver and App Manager are installed and updated. Screen recording permissions were activated for both. Also under extensions, the DisplayLink Kext is active, and the USB recognise the Dock station. Any thought about the issue? I have the same setup with a MacBook Pro 2016 13" and it works. I'm attaching screenshots and logs. Thank you! Rubén |

Hello,
Thank you for reaching out to us here on the forum. In order to work properly you should be using only one of our drivers. I would suggest using the Application driver. Please uninstall any other drivers and use only the above one. Thank you for checking that and letting me know if the issue persist afterwads. Best regards, Jakub

It didn't work. Also, I've reinstalled OS, clean installation and I've installed just the application driver and it doesn't work and I can't activate the screen sharing or the extension. That option appears just when I install the drivers. Any tought? |

Hello,
Thank you for your patience. Did you try updating your D6000 firmware? If not, please follow this link and perform the update. Please note down that the upgrade can be only done on the Windows machine. You will simply need to connect the docking station (without the external screens) to the Windows machine and perform the update. Afterwards, plug in the dock to the Macbook and verify. Thank you for your actions. Kind regards, Jakub

I've tried to install again the App and it doesn't work. No kext enabled, no prompts, no screen permission, no nothing. Also, when I try to boot the Mac with the Device connected it doesn't boot until I remove the Dock. It's so frustrating having the device working in one device and not in the newest. Any extra ideas? Thank you |
