Default MacBook Air external displays are mirroring

Hi, I am using a MacBook Air (2019, Catalina) with a StarTech dock, DisplayLink 5.2.1, and two BenQ GL2460 monitors. However, the two external monitors act as a mirror of each other instead of two separate displays. I've followed the steps listed here https://support.displaylink.com/know...k-display-on-m , but it has not solved my issues. Any guidance on how to proceed would be great!

Thank you!

Hello,

Please verify in System Preferences, click Displays. Click the Arrangement tab.
Make sure that the Mirror Displays checkbox isn’t selected.

Thank you,
Katarzyna

Hi, I tried that and it is not checked. I think if might be a problem with the dock I am using as the triple screen works on a different one in the office.

I am having the same issue. I checked all the settings and restarted multiple times. I also uninstalled and reinstalled with restarts after each action. It kept mirroring the displays. The mouse could move over to the second display, but I could not interact with anything. Only on the primary display could I select anything. It was an odd mixed state. FWIW, I do also have my laptop open, so I am using 3 screens in total. I am on macOS 10.15.4. After wasting almost an hour trying to get it to work, I ended up going back to 5.2.1.

Default Experincing the Same issue on MBP 2019

I currently have three screens and the laptop. Mac OSX shows all of the displays, however the two that are connected to the displaylink system are mirroring. This is with the latest version of the mac drivers, previous version was working properly.

Catalina 10.15.4

Thank you to Jakub for putting a post out early this morning. It is at the top of the Mac Software section. Putting it here as well. Once I installed the new "DisplayLink Manager App 0.5 Beta", it figured things out on its own.
