Angry DisplayLink Driver 2.1 Overloading my CPU

I've just upgraded to Mavericks (10.9) and installed the latest driver (2.1), my main problem with it is, as soon as I start the computer (MBP with 2 Kensington USB to DVI adapters) the fans start spinning at a high speed. A look at the activity monitor showed DisplayLinkManager process is using most of the CPU power. is it a broken driver? How can I solve the problem?

When DisplayLonk is going to fix this problem? This is not your typical Mavericks compatibility issue, this driver is melting my CPU.
