Exclamation LENOVO ThinkCentre i9 issues with Portable AOC monitor

Hi,
I am trying to find out a solution to the problem below.

I have a LENOVO ThinkCentre i9-9900T Intel Core, 32GB RAM with WIN10 pro v.1909.
with a Radeon RX560 Graphic Card.

I am trying to use an AOC portable USB 3.0 monitor I1659FWUX

The monitor is working on Windows but when using Adobe programs (Photoshop, Premiere) I receive a "Loadlibrary failed with error 87: The parameter is incorrect" error message and "Premiere Pro could not find any capable video play modules. Please update your video display drivers and start again."

Strangely, when I am doing the exact connection on a Desktop it works just fine.

I talked to Lenovo and Adobe about this and they say it's a drivers issue.

I tried all past and the latest (beta) DisplayLink drivers but I still getting the same errors.

So, long story short, AOC portable monitor with USB 3 to a Lenovo ThinkCentre works, but NOT when trying to use programs that needs to verify the graphic card capabilities of the system.

Any solution/ idea would be really appreciated !!!

Thank you all

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out.

Is your laptop monitor set as primary?

If no, can you test if everything is working as expected if the laptop monitor is set as a primary one?

Also if you start programs with the dock disconnected and then connect it as they open, is everything working correctly?

Best regards,
Katarzyna
