Need help with AOC 2236Vw
I have a AOC monitor, model 2236Vw. This has 4 input ports, D-SUB, DVI-D, USB Standard Type - A and USB Standard Type - B (found only after searching for usb port names). I think USB Standard Type - A is to run some slideshow or something from a USB Stick. I have a cable which connects from USB Standard Type - B and I connect the other end to my Macbook pro.
I installed latest 2.0 driver of DisplayLink and after a restart connected the USB cable, but nothing seems to happen on the screen. It doesn't gets detected. Could someone help me on how to resolve this issue and get the external display working. Running OSX 10.8.3 DisplayLink 2.0 driver Thx Last edited by cksachdev; 04-05-2013 at 12:55 PM. Looking at the device technical specification, it doesn't seem to have a DisplayLink technology built-in. The USB port just works as an extension; think "single port USB hub in the monitor". It cannot be used with DisplayLink driver - sorry.
