Belkin USB 3.0 to DP Adapter help...
Hi
In short I am after some help in regard to connecting a second monitor to my HP Laptop. I already have one monitor connected using a HDMI cable and having read up on this I opted to buy a Belkin USB 3.0 to DisplayPort Adapter and then to connect the second monitor using a DP Cable. I have installed the driver for the adapter however the second screen is not working and I saw a pop-up message to say that the driver software is not compatible with the media card or something to that effect. I am running Windows 10 and my laptop is less than a year old so it should be sufficient for the task. Can someone please advise how I go about getting this to work as I really don't know where to start or who to contact i.e. Belkin? Is there a helpdesk? Or perhaps one of you clever people with offer some advice?? Many thanks Andy |

Hi Andy,
I moved your post to the Windows board. It's possible the driver that Belkin shipped is older than Windows 10. Would you please check by installing 7.9 M7 from: http://www.displaylink.com/downloads/file?id=576 If the issue persists, please collect the logs as described in my forum signature so I can look at which rule fails. Kind regards, Alban
