Default MacBkPro updated to 10.15.7 now MB169B+ won't work. HELP!

My MacbookPro automatically updated and seemingly killed the driver that runs my Asus MB169B+ portable monitor. Rather desperate to get it up and running. Are there any updated drivers or work arounds?

Thank you,
Whalien

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out!

The newest driver updates are available under the following link: https://www.displaylink.com/downloads/macos

If you can gather the logfiles that will help us see what happened I would appreciate it: https://support.displaylink.com/know...to-displaylink

Thank you,
Katarzyna

Default Same issue 10.15.7 is broken

I have the same issue. My new mac book pro was working flawlessly until a minor update to 10.15.7 broke my two external monitors. The error was briefly on my screen and along the lines of: Displaylink kext is not compatible with this version and the developer will need to update their software.

I restored from time machine backups because I too am on a time crunch. Please investigate and update your software.

Hello,

The only driver known to be incompatible with Catalina 10.15.6 and 10.15.7 is legacy driver 5.2.1 - this requires an update to 5.2.5 or to DisplayLink Manager - which are available on the website for quite awhile now.

Best regards,
Katarzyna

I have the same issue with the 10.15.7 Catalina since today.
I tried with display link 1.1 and and 5.2 but still nothing working.

If someone have a solution ?

When i start 1.1, my screen just change every second and i can't use it or plug any monitor.

Thank you
