Toshiba Dynadock U10 + Win 7 - extend display won't stay 'off'

Hi,

I use a Dynadock U10 with two laptops, a Toshiba+XP and an Acer+Win7.

On the Win7 (Home Premium 64bit) machine, if I set multiple displays to 'Off', when I reboot, multiple displays are activated again. Even when the external monitor has no power going to it (just the VGA linking it to the Dynadock).

This problem does not occur on the Toshiba+XP machine.

Any ideas why the DisplayLink insists on 'extending my display' at reboot?

Displaylink Core software is v. 5.6.31854. Even using the latest version from the Displaylink site doesn't help.
