Windows 10 Night Light on Dell D6000 with Display Port
Hi,
I have read other threads that say that using Display Port cables with external monitors on the Dell D6000 should work with Windows 10 night light. Mine do not. I can confirm that my monitors are compatible because they work with that feature when my MS surface is plugged in through the surface dock and Display Port. What does not work though is my new Dell XPS 17 plugged into the Delll D6000 dock, and 2 external Dell monitors, both connected Display Port to Display Port on the dock. Is there anything else to try to get the night light feature working? Once you're used to it working, the brightness as night is very tough on the eyes without it. |

Resolved with RegEdit
I realized after posting this that for the DisplayPort connection on the D6000 to work with night light, I first needed to apply the RegEdit fix as described here:

Yep.
We are enabling that via the DisplayLink Manager app in the Windows Store (for Windows 10). There are limitations to the feature and that's why it is not enabled by default. However, the store app makes it more user friendly than registry settings. DisplayLink Manager in the Windows Store: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/di...r/9n09f8v8fs02 Kind regards, Alban
