HP Doc Station - I cannot configure dual screens to be extended display
Hi
I have purchased matchbook pro 13 M2 recently , i have connect two monitors with HP doc station , both are working fine but mirroring only , I could not make extend display for the connected screens , I have downloaded the latest version of DISPLAYLINK software but also does not work , Displaylink already made allow in security & privacy > Screen recording even in system preferences > displays > only one screen appears , please help !!!! Hello,
You have reached out to our support directly so please check your email for response. But I will mention here that the dock is HP USB-C Dock G5 which does not use DisplayLink technology. Due to limitation in the Mac itself this dock will only support one external monitor. DisplayLink allows to extend the number of screens up to 4 external monitors regardless of that limitation however as mentioned previously the docking station in use does not use DisplayLink therefore it will only be limited to a single external screen.
