Question CRT refresh rate down to 60Hz

Hi,
I have i-tec USB Display Adapter TRIO, (DL-165 Adapter), and I am using Windows 7 64bit on Acer 6920G with GeForce 9500M GS.

When I connect Sharp LCD FullHD 32" TV to HDMI port of my laptop and CRT AOC 16" monitor via DisplayLink adapter DVI to HDMI, the refresh rate of CRT decrease to 60Hz.

Only CRT connected via VGA port to laptop can operate on 1280x1024px and 85Hz but via DisplayLink only 60Hz which isn't quite comfortable.

I tried these drivers:
DisplayLink-5.2.23219.exe <- brought with CD
DisplayLink-5.6.31870.exe
DisplayLink-6.0.34621.exe
DisplayLink-6.1.36490.exe
DisplayLink-6.1.36486.exe <- via Windows Update
DisplayLink-6.2.37116.exe
USB2HDTRIO_XP_7.zip <- from i-tec website

but always the same problem.

I found these topics:
http://www.displaylink.org/forum/sho...t=refresh+rate
<- this is related to the issue, closed but don't fixed.

http://www.displaylink.org/forum/sho...t=refresh+rate
<- this is related but with no answer.

I tried uninstall the drivers, restart, install the other; update driver manually.

Why the refresh rates higher than 60Hz isn't supported by the adapter?

The highest refresh rate that is available at 1280x1024 is 75Hz (if the monitor reports this as being supported). The maximum refresh rate is limited by the maximum pixel clock that our hardware can do.

OK, 75Hz would be great, but i can't choose that.
Only available option is 60Hz and there is no dropdown menu to choose from.

What can cause that?

As I said above - "if the monitor reports it as being supported". If you post your log files, this will contain the monitor information and tell me what refresh rates the monitor supports.

Hi,
when i connect this monitor via VGA to laptop it says that it support at this resolution 1280x1024px 85Hz, and on 1024x768px 100Hz and it works at that properties.

But when it is connected via DisplayLink Adapter the refresh rate is reduced to 60Hz even on smaller resolution 1024x768px.

How can I get logs?
