Workaround mentioned in sticky but there is no such option in Energy Saver!

A workaround that resolves some issues is to:

Go in System Preferences ->Energy Saver
Disable "Automatic graphics switching"

The option is available only on system with dual GPU, as for example system with both the nVidia 9400 and 9600. In some systems the "Automatic graphics switching" option is replaced with a radio button showing a choice between better battery life and higher performance.What machine are you using ? What issues are you experiencing?
