Default DisplayLink Software will not install

Hi Displaylink forum,

I have a client with a Toshiba Portege Z830 (Windows 7 64-bit) that is trying to use with a Toshiba DynaDock U3.0. The laptop does not have an optical drive and do not have an external one available. I have downloaded the latest DisplayLink driver from the website but I receive an error "Your Primary Graphics Card (Standard VGA Graphics Adapter) is not supported by the DisplayLink software." I have attached a screenshot of the complete output of the error. I get this error when trying to install the drivers. I can't even run the compatibility check successfully, I receive a few errors and it fails.

Please help me find a solution ASAP. Your help is greatly appreciated

Hi,

It looks like the graphics driver for your notebook is not installed.

Please try install the graphics driver for your notebook from here:
http://support1.toshiba-tro.de/tedd-...1220193847.zip

After that you should be able to install DisplayLink Software.

Thanks,
James

Unbelievable, that worked!! I just assumed that the laptop had the driver installed/enabled.

Thank you James!!!
