Windows 10 - Dual Monitor different resolution
Hello,
I have been using a single monitor via HDMI at 2560x1080 but since added a second monitor which is connected via DVI at 1920x1080, I can no longer set the HDMI one back to 2560x1080. The dock is a dual monitor USB dock. Any ideas? Last edited by jacobblack; 03-22-2020 at 07:57 PM. |

Hello,
Thank you for your patience. Based on the log files I may see that this behaviour is expected with your docking station. The dock that you are using is not able to handle two such resolutions. Due to it when the second monitor is connected the first one drops to a smaller resolution in order to start the second one with the correct resolution. In order to have both monitor at the highest resolution possible you would need to have a newer docking station that is able to project higher resolutions. Best regards, Jakub
