USB Extenders with the MIMO

I wasn't sure where to post this as there doesn't seem to be a hardware forum for the MIMO's.

Can anyone recommend a USB Ethernet Range Extender that might work with the MIMO 740? I am looking at using one for a keypad, but it needs to be a fair distance away from the PC. The only way I can think of doing this is with an Ethernet extender, but it seems as though that might be a tricky proposition. If anyone has any experience with this or can recommend one with a high probability of working I would greatly appreciate it.
