Default Have you considered gamma/color adjustments?

I was kinda amazed with displaylink solutions. Then I bought one. I placed it near my Dell displays and thought: "nice, time to tweat that pale bluish tone". Windows 7 display adjustment. Move the slider, no luck. Next screen, gamma, try again, no luck.

This display looks nice (Samsung LD220), but been able to tweak it a bit would be nice. Something like putting less blue, a bit more of red or similar. Have you considered it this or next releases?

Agree.

It would be nice if these devices could work with applications like f.lux (http://www.stereopsis.com/flux/).

Unfortunately it works only with the main monitor (the developers said it's because of the DisplayLink drivers).

Hi

So there have been improvements in v5.4 software to try and support color adjustment and gamma correction. We have done this by adding support for the DDC channel, so 3rd party apps can communicate directly with the monitor to change color settings.

An example of an application which is now supported is ScreenBright.

Looking at the Flux app, it appears that this does not use DDC and works directly with the GPU, therefore this is not supported today and cannot be supported on our current hardware.

Hope that helps

Wim
