Exclamation Displaylink keeps crashing mac

Hi there,

I recently made the error of trying to rotate one of my screens on my Mac without realising that display link doesn't support that and now I can't go back!

I have a MacBook Pro 13" M1 2020.

Whenever I connect my display link to my Mac and open the displaylink manager it logs me out and crashes.

So far, I've uninstalled and reinstalled, rebooted, and deleted "windowserver" files as per another forum post to no avail.

How do I fix this?

Thanks!

Default one time fix for crashes after rotation screen on M1

This is a one time fix if you have multiple video ports on your docking station: Switch your ports on the docking station (for example, say you have two cables A and B, two ports C and D; say your connection was A-C and B-D; change it to A-D and B-C should fix your problem.
Good luck!
