Dell D6000 Win10 Driver Issue
Having DisplayLink driver issues configuring Dell D6000 docking station with Dell Latitude 7420 Win 10 laptop. Happens on both USB-C and USB-A connections, extending display to two external monitors via DisplayPort connections. Monitors will constantly flicker/connect+disconnect/and flash black and white lines. Dell D6000 firmware updated to latest, tried latest DisplayLink USB graphics software. No success running DisplayLink installation cleaner and then reinstalling drivers. All laptop drivers, bios are to the latest.
D6000 and latest DisplayLink drivers are working great on another laptop running Win 7. Any recommendations? |

I have also tried multiple different versions of the Intel Graphics - Windows 10 DHC drivers to support Intel Iris Xe Max graphics as was mentioned in other posts.
27.20.100.9466 (current) - no success 27.20.100.9316 - no success 27.20.100.9126 - no success |

Re-tried the Intel driver installation downgrade per DisplayLink support and displays are now working. Hopefully Intel will have a fix for this.

You may have to uninstall multiple times. I had a lot of issues with a dock reinstall. I thought I had uninstalled all the old drivers, but fragments still remained and it kept reinstalling the bad driver. They provided these instructions https://kb.plugable.com/docking-stat...-driver-update
The two keys are to disconnect your internet connection (wired and airplane mode) and keep doing the uninstall device driver process from the device manager until the driver says "Microsoft Basic Display adapter". then you can reinstall the old drivers. In my case, I also had to block windows from updating drivers automatically otherwise it kept forcing the same driver. I used group policy to do so on my Pro copy, there's other ways to do it though. |

I connected my D6000 docking to my Latitude 5510 laptop by USB3.0 at the moment to see if that helps on my flickering screens from using USB-C connection, and by fare (60minutes) no flickering has happen..
So maybe that could help some people out there until DELL realize the issue at some place. Maybe driver, maybe driver-software. Quote:
