Default Monitor(s) Freeze

One or both of my monitors repeatedly freeze. The only way to unfreeze them is to disconnect power to my DisplayLink and then reconnect it. All drivers are up to date.

This sounds like it could be a hardware problem, but there is not enough information to make a conclusion.

We need the logs, taken when the screens are frozen:

How do I get the logs if both screens are frozen?

Default Support Log

Please see the attached support tool log. I was able to get this because only one screen froze.

Hi Kris,

Could you please describe what you were doing around the time you collected the logs?

I see a flooding of connect/disconnect from the audio jack, along with USB errors which then gets Windows to just ignore the device so it freezes, then our driver resets the box...

Do you have something connected on the headphones at the front/back of the Dell dock?
Could you try with another cable to the monitor to see if I get cleaner logs?

Kind regards,
Alban
