Hi - I have a Toshiba PA3923U-1LC3 which i would like to use at the primary display on my computer, I followed all installation instructions and when i plug it in I can see through lsusb that the computer sees the device, but i can't get it to work. The USB monitor doesn't show up in the Display settings. Please help!

Hi

Thanks for the logs. This is a USB 2.0 monitor based on the DL-195. This should use the udlfb driver, which is built into the kernel, rather than the Ubuntu driver (EVDI) for USB 3.0 devices.

Looking at the logs, the udlfb and EVDI are both trying to claim the USB monitor and as a result it is not working. I think you want to uninstall the EVDI driver and use the built in udlfb driver for this monitor.
