Third screen not working wavlink adapters

Hi everybody, I got a win 10 hp z2 mini WS main pc, connected to 2 DP 2k screens directly to the pc's GPU DP connections, it runs intel 630 integrated graphics, drivers up to date.

I use this pc as my main cpu. I hooked another three monitors FHD through startech and wavlink adapters with display link technology usb 2, for looking at reference through my work process, problem is third monitor is recognized by windows but do not get any image, goes no signal message, unless I disconnect second monitor through windows screen management, then it gets signal asap.

I thought you could hooked up to 6 monitors through DL tech? I even ordered another wavlink this week looking forward to attaching a fourth screen, just for netflix and that sort of thing. I don't use all the screens at the same time, but it is a real nag every time I change from one desk to another to have to go to win screen management and connect and disconnect screens to get them to work, I thought DL tech was all about avoiding that sort of thing.

Anyway, thanks for reading, if any ideas come to you, I am leaning to getting a new pc with a big gpu to solve this, just thought to give the forum a try first. Thx.

Are all the adapters connected directly to the PC?

Might want to connect that 4th adapter to a mains powered USB hub as this could be a power related issue.

Thanks, I'll give it a try, just ordered a powered plugable usb hub, I'll keep you posted.

Hello,
We'd need details on hardware used (brand + model + connection types).
Technology here is not the limitation. But you might have products not supporting this many screens, or meet a bug.

Hi everybody, just got the plugable powered hub and hooked my fourth DL screen, it worked! Thanks for the help!
