Default "Audio-Only Mode"?

Is there any way to enable an audio-only mode for a DisplayLink device?

I don't mean that the device sends out only audio, I know the HDMI spec doesn't allow this. If the DisplayLink software just sends out a black screen, or some kind of text image that amounts to "audio-only mode enabled, this video output will not come from your computer", that's fine.

Basically, I'm asking if there's any mode that shows the DisplayLink device as a full audio device to Windows, but not a display device to Windows.

Primary use case would be sending audio through an HDMI cable to an audio receiver that doesn't support modern resolutions or HDR. Another use case would be sending audio to an eARC soundbar that only takes audio in through its HDMI channel.

Having Windows 10 or 11 detect another HDMI device just results in a whole plethora of odd issues, so if there's any kind of option in DisplayLink to do something like this without having to extend or mirror a 2nd display, but still get the audio output, that would be optimal.
