Default Inject DisplayLink over hardware?

We have users that require DisplayLink to connect to a Logitech Swytch. Not all users have the DisplayLink driver and we cannot push it out. Furthermore external users don't know they need to have the driver. It just causes all sorts of issues.

Now my question is if there exist any devices docks or whatever that would connect a USB-C from you surface laptop or macbook air , and then inject a DisplayLink signal somehow ? Basically wondering if we could leverage the built in capabilities that exist without the need of a driver?

I was thinking of maybe even having a small intel nuc with passthrough that would have the driver on it and simply mirror out a displaylink signal.
