Looking for working USB-A to HDMI adapter for Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS

Hey everyone!

So I read that people are having problems using DisplayLink adapters with Ubuntu (or linux in general). So does anyone know a device that (at least for them) works with Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS?
What were the steps to set up the driver and other requrements?
Also: I have SecureBoot enabled. If you have experience with this: How does this change the installation steps? How do DKMS and/or EVDI relate to this? I saw them pop up in this context too...

I'm very confused with the amount of devices/different installation guides/etc... - Thanks in advance to anyone who can help
