Default Diamond USB2 BVU165 v2 problems MacOS

I used to use this adapter on my Mac Air OS 10.13.6 successfully but it was long time ago.

Now I am in need to use my Mac again and th second screen connected to it simply does not work. Screen dark, power button changes color to blue and that's it.

Can anybody help to troubleshoot this?

Thanks!

I found this https://support.displaylink.com/know...ticles/1863298

But at the time when I find DisplayLink folder all files in it greyed out.

I guess I missing a step, not sure what?

PS: I hate MacOS for those type of changes they do !
