Default CPU Usage

DisplayLinkManageer is using 30% to 90% of my CPU at times. This is slowing my Macbook to a crawl and makes it virtually unusable. Is there a fix for this?

Macbook 2018
2.6 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i7
16gb RAM
Big Sur 11.0.1

Hi,
Same issue on my device. (MacBook Pro 16, Big Sur)
I have external screen with resolution 3400x1440. When I'm playing video (for example Netflix) there is around 100% cpu usage and video is sometimes lagging.
Please improve UWQHD screen support.

You can disable logging which i found improved the CPU utilisation

From terminal run the following:

sudo log config --process=$(pgrep WindowServer) --mode "levelff"
