Default MacbookPro 2019 OS Catalina 10.15.7 + Lenovo ThinkPad TB Dock 3 GEN2

Hi,

I have a MBP 2019 16" and I'm running Catalina 10.15.7.
I'm using Lenovo ThinkPad Thunderbolt Dock 3 GEN2 and I have some trouble using 2 external displays without mirroring (first monitor is plugged in DP port and second one in HDMI port).
I've tried DisplayLink Manager Graphics 1.1 and it does not detect my monitors.
I've tried DisplayLink USB Graphics Software 5.2.5 Legacy release and still doesn't work.
I did tried a few methods from troubleshooting section (like making sure the kext is not blocked and Accessibility permissions foe UserAgent).

I've attached the logs for both (DisplayLink Manager Graphics 1.1 and DisplayLink USB Graphics Software 5.2.5).

Any idea how I can get the monitors work in extended mode ?

Thanks,
clintRR

To the best of my knowledge, the dock you are using does NOT use DisplayLink technology.

To the best of my knowledge, the dock has an internal DisplayPort MST hub. DisplayPort MST is not supported on the Mac platform. When an unsupported DisplayPort MST hub is connected to a Mac, all of the displays will be in mirror mode like you describe.

To the best of my knowledge, there is no workaround for this problem.

If you have 2 identical monitors then use DisplayPort connectors instead of HDMI ones. It will not work with HDMI. If this does not play out, then you have to have at least one monitor supporting ThunerBolt. In this case connect one monitor with DP connector in back of dock and second one with TB port in front. It will work.
Or alternatively you can connect one monitor directly to your Mac using USBC
to HDMI adapter.
