display link service start but stops
Hi,
after I rebooted my laptop my dell d3000 dockings tation as stop reconizing my external display. I use a dell precision 7510 with a displaylink base Dell D300 docking. I have updated all my video drivers and displaylink software to no avail. I notice that the displaylink service is starting and stopping immediately with the following error: 7031 in the event log I tried the installation cleaner still same issue. software install properly . If I lunch the DL application I see no displaylink device. ( I have two device a iogear device and the dell docking station both do the same thing.) usb device are working properly trough the docking. I also notice that the screen are detected by both external video device as they are going black but not in disconnect mode. I tried many thing nothing so far is working,.,,, damn service will not stay started. I have uploaded the troubleshooting logs. please help as this is my working tools and I cant work with only my laptop. Thanks. Stephane. |

Hello Stephane,
I have seen you have created a ticket for this, so it will be handled there. There is a crash, that's why the service stops. It needs to be analysed to understand why it crashes. What you have provided should be enough for them to start working on the problem. Kind regards, Alban
