Hi
Since a week ago, the display seems not to be recognized anymore (DVI Port on my Lenovo USB 3.0 Pro Dock). Mouse / Keyboard / Audio output works absoluteley fine. I've attached the Logs from Display Link Support Tool for Linux. Please have a look on the logs. Thomas |

It seems evdi is not running for your kernel. Was the DKMS rebuild successful (I assume the kernel was upgraded)?

Thank you Michal - DKMS has disappeared somehow - after reinstalling dkms and the displaylink driver all is working as expected.

Michal,
I have just joined this forum as I have the same problem since yesterday. tried the displayport and dvi port of the Lenovo dock. Running Ubuntu 14.04.5, a hardware update recently when I restarted the display on the monitor was gone. Tried uninstalling and re-installing the driver already. Got the Display link support too mentioned in this thread. Is there any chance you could tell what is going on. Thanks |
