No, using UV+. I also tried the beta software which didn't seem to work.

For the record, I did set compatibility back to Windows 7 and ran as administrator. Any chance a new version is coming out?

Default displaylink with win8

I'm also having trouble getting it working.

I can install using compatibility mode and once you change all files required to run also in compatibility mode you can almost get it going.

Any advise from displaylink would be great!

I agree. Also struggling with this. Not sure what 'really close' is or means. I can get the display to blink when I install the drivers, but no picture, and nothing else happens.

I haven't gotten this to work either.

Driver installs then the screen flashes and that's where it stops. Afterwards I see the DisplayLinkManager application eating up 45-50% of my CPU in task manager.

Post Lonely Driver incompatability

According to the Driver Details for my Lilliput display (uses DisplayLink), the one incompatible driver file is DisplayLinkUsbPort_5.6.31854.0.sys, located in C:\Windows\System32\Drivers.
This file is Identified in the properties window as being provided by http://libusb-win32.sourceforge.net.
File version is 5.0.0.2.

Does anyone have a more up-to-date version of this library? If we could upgrade this we might have a chance at this!

I have a Sabrent USB-1612 that worked out of the box in Win8 until a Windows update killed it. Looks like 6.0.32700.0 dated 6/1/2011 from DisplayLink installed, but I can't get the device to actually turn on.

Windows 8 support is being developed at the moment. We will have a Windows 8 beta driver available by the end of the year.

Thanks
